Netherlands: Verder among the TOP3 manufacturing companies
The management consultancy MT/Sprout has once again ranked Verder among the TOP3 manufacturing companies in the Netherlands. In the highly regarded Maakindustrie100 Ranking 2021, the group of companies takes second place.
The prestigious ranking is determined based on key performance indicators such as sales, sales growth, profit growth and return on invested capital (ROIC). The results of the last five years are incorporated into the assessment, so that the list reflects a long-term, resilient trend.
In the past three years, Verder has always led the prestigious ranking, however, this time it had to hand over the first place to the AGAR Holding. CEO Andries Verder nevertheless is more than satisfied: “We are proud to have performed excellently despite the challenges of the Corona crisis, because our renewed position in the top group shows that we are pursuing the right strategy.”
He resumes: “We think long-term and strive for stable, continuous growth instead of short-term growth peaks. We focus on niche markets and spread risks across many countries. We therefore heartily congratulate AGAR Holding on its first place – but promise already today that we will do our utmost to get back in front.”
The Maakindustrie100 list includes the top 100 performing Dutch manufacturing companies with sales of up to 500 million euros.
